Description
This is a traditional third semester course in introductory calculus. The main goal is some familiarity with the derivative and integral in 3D.
Prerequisites
Outline
- Review of Cartesian coordinate system
- Functions of several variables
- Partial derivatives and the gradient
- Parametric curves and line integrals
- Vector fields
- Vector integrals
- Green's theorem
- Stokes theorem
Notes
An alternative approach to studying calculus is to start with Differential calculus and then proceed to Integral calculus.
Calculus by Stewart was used.
