A New Kind of Science by Stephen Wolfram

Really long!

A small part, which is still a lot, is thought-provoking. That part is about discrete modelling.

And then there are those startling comments such as that patterns exhibited by PDEs are too simple. So, instead of dealing with real problems like heat transfer or wave propagation, I am supposed to look at and enjoy those very intricate pictures that represent nothing... Conway's game of life is called game for a reason!

The book I am working on should be called:
