Basic Linear Algebra by Blyth and Robertson

Linear algebra: course

I used the book once to teach linear algebra. It is very precise and "compact". It is also purely mathematical in the sense that it lacks motivational examples before a concept is introduced. Surprisingly, no discussion of inner products. Plenty of exercises. The book is meant for a somewhat more mature student. I have been using Linear Algebra by Messer since.
