The main advantages of Pixcavator in forensic image analysis are these.
- The analysis is lossless. Hence there is no image manipulation, which is a dangerous practice, especially in a legal context.
- The method is very simple. Hence there is a better chance to able to explain it to the jury in order to justify the conclusions.
- The results are easily reproducible. Anyone can move a couple of sliders...
