Color image analysis

A lot of images, especially in microscopy etc, are grayscale. However, many applications produce true color imagery when, for example, different tissues are differently stained. Until Pixcavator starts to use the true color image analysis, one has to rely on choosing appropriate color channel. This isn't always easy. For example, you need to capture vegetation on the ground but what if the color of the leaves isn't different enough from some of the background? A more precise choice of the color channel might help with the separation but that feature is still under development.
